Guillaume Coupez has been Group Chief Financial Officer of VA Intertrading Aktiengesellschaft since February 2026.

With extensive international experience in finance, treasury, trade finance and structured financing, Guillaume Coupez is responsible for the Group’s overall financial management. He brings more than 15 years of experience in global commodity trading and international banking, with a strong track record in optimizing financing structures, managing liquidity and controlling financial risks. In his current role, he is driving the further development of the finance organization, strengthening the capital structure and international banking relationships, and contributing significantly to efficiency improvements across the value chain.

Prior to joining VAIT, Guillaume Coupez had several senior positions at BNP Paribas in Paris and ING Geneva, as well as CFO of international trading companies involved in all types of commodities (energy, metals and softs).

Guillaume Coupez holds a Master’s in corporate finance from EDHEC Business School (France).
