Since more than 38 years Sabine Egartner has been active in different positions enabling her to accumulate enormous knowledge in various fields in the worldwide commodity trading including high risk destinations. Starting in steel trading team in VAIT she switched to Agro Commodities team early ’90 being important part of growing team during the years, having the lead in sourcing grains mainly from South America to near/middle east destinations focusing on high volume trade flows with deep complexity in trade finance aspects with exceptional dedication. Heading since 2020 the Trade Finance & Treasury-team of VAIT responsible for treasury operations, cashflow management and relationship with banks. With focus on enlarging the financial line portfolio of VAIT by transactional Agro commodity financing.
